Rebels On The Road Members of the UNLV Runnin' Rebel Pep Band "ham it up'" as they disembark from the chartered plane used to transport UNLV President Smatresk, the band, cheerleaders and team to Oklahoma City for the first round of the NCAA Basketball Tournament in March.
After football season, marching band members are eligible to audition for the UNLV Runnin' Rebel Pep Band. The pep band is a band consisting of wind, percussion, and electronic instruments. The pep band performs at all UNLV Rebel Basketball home games and at special engagements throughout Las Vegas.
