UNLV Scarlet Danceline


Showcased for the very first time in 2009, the UNLV Scarlet
Danceline is the featured dance team for halftime performances. The group is under the aegis of the Rebel Girls dance team and regularly performs at pregame and halftime shows with the UNLV Star of Nevada Marching Band for UNLV Rebel Football games, select pep rallies and university related events.

Scholarships are available to all Scarlet Danceline members who qualify under UNLV GPA/scholarship award requirements - 3.0 for incoming freshmen, 2.75 to maintain scholarship award(s).

Mandatory training camp rehearsals take place during the week of August 22nd-26th 2011, the week before instruction begins at UNLV.

Regular rehearsals during the semester are as follows:
Monday evenings, 6:30pm-8:20pm
Friday mornings, 8:00am-9:30am

TRY-OUTS FOR THE 2011 SCARLET DANCELINE WILL BE HELD ON SUNDAY, APRIL 17TH FROM 8AM-10AM IN THE
MCDERMOTT PHYSICAL EDUCATION BUILDING
