Charles Greggerson
Doctoral Graduate Assistant
Charles Greggerson is in his second year of the Doctorate of Musical Arts program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is a graduate teaching assistant with the Division of Wind Band Studies, in which he works with the Star of Nevada Marching Band, Runnin' Rebel Basketball Pep Band, teaches undergraduate conducting lessons, and co-conducts the Symphonic Winds and Community Concert Band.
He is a native of Ohio, where he graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. As a graduate assistant at Ball State University, he concurrently pursued a Master of Music degree in Instrumental Conducting. Mr. Greggerson possesses eleven years of K -12 instrumental and general music teaching experience in the urban, rural, and Title I schools of Ohio, Oregon, and Washington. In addition, he has served as a private saxophone instructor, interim Ball State University Band administrative assistant, and was a member of numerous teacher union committees. Mr. Greggerson is an alumni member of The Ohio State University Marching Band and has performed in numerous community bands throughout his teaching career. He holds professional memberships in Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, National Band Association, and the National Association for Music Education.
